Inhaltsangabe:   "I came to my children to have some vacation with them. Probably I will stay here a few weeks but in any case letters with the above adress will reach me.  I heard that young v. Laue was arrested and can only imagine that he is falsely under suspicion; but of course I had so little personal contact with him that I have no own judgment.  I have also the fullest confidence that the officials will treat this case with all the care and justice they can think of. Still I wanted to know whether it would be possible to help him to claer up misunderstandings in case that they exist as I hope.  You know that his father is one of my very few real friends I still have in Germany and in case that really only misunderstandings or misrepresentations caused the arrest of Theo von Laue I like to do my best to help to clear up the situation.  Please inform me therefo[re im]mediately how the whole matter stands and whether you find it desirable and justifiable to do something in behalf of this matter.  If on the other hand my assumption about Theo von Laue are erroneous I certainly will not do anything in his furor[?]. I would be grateful for a quite answer.
