Bemerkung:   Two letters (10.12.1934 and 07.05.1935) concern a dispute between Eccles and Arturo Rosenblueth over a series of articles by the latter, regarding chemical transmission at the neuromuscular junction of smooth muscles, published in the American Journal of Physiology. Eccles had criticized Rosenblueth's conclusions in a 1934 article with G.L. Brown
