Bemerkung:   "[...] Richard because he was at the N.I.H.; in his work on SRNA he has a collaborator working in Bethesda and spent nearly a couple of months down there. They think they are on the verge of an exciting discovery but the atmosphere of research circles on RNA and DNA seems to an oldster like me to have an atmosphere of feverish competition reminiscent of gang warfare. [...] I gradually adjust myself to being almost the senior member of the department from whom little can be expected other than reminiscences."
