Bemerkung:   Anfangsbuchstaben mit Gold gemalt auf rotem, gelbem oder blauem Grund (1,5 cm im Geviert).  Bl. 28 - Ende: Nachträge, und zwar: Bl. 28 Eid "You being" (Appendix no. 39), Bl. 28v: "The kings highness" und Bl. 29 "And the same daye", zwei Kapitelbeschlüsse zu Windsor (5.8.1554, gedruckt S. 194/5 und im Auszug S. 300); Bl. 29 die vier Investiturformeln "To the lawd (S. 300), "Take this robe" (S. 351), "Take this mantell" und "To the encrease" (S. 357); Bl. 30v: Kapitelbeschlüsse "The nynth daye of October" (1554, Auszug S. 244), dann "At a chapter holden at saint Jeames" and "It was further ordred also the same daye" (12.2.1559; der zweite in lateinischer Sprache "Decretum est si" gedruckt S. 287).  Im Deckel eingeklebt war der Druck "1588 A Prognostication serving for this yeere ... by John Dade ... . London : Rich. Watkins and James Robertes", darauf das Ex-Libris von "Mr. William Hamilton of Wishaw"  wegen Onlinestellung die wesentlichen Angaben aus dem Meyerschen Katalog übernommen 

Illustrationen: zwei gemalte Wappen auf dem ersten Blatt (oben das von König Jakob I. geschaffene Königswappen, unten das Wappen der Familie Stuart)  Material: Pergament  Einbandbeschreibung: hellbraunes Kalbsleder, Supralibros: altenglisches Königswappen (Löwen und Lilien) und die Buchstaben E und R [Elisabeth Regina] mit Gold eingepresst, mit dem Motto des Hosenbandordens verwoben; Einband wohl kurz nach 1588 

Erwerbungsgeschichte:  Provenienz:  1754 gekauft aus einer Versteigerung von Thomas Osborne in London (Catalog Vol. 1, p. 3373)
