Biographical references:
Argentinischer Arzt und Botaniker, italienischer Abstammung. 1920 wurde er Professor für Geologie und Paläontologie an der Fakultät für Erziehungswissenschaften der Nationalen Universität Litoral, 1922 Vertretungsprofessor und dann ordentlicher Professor für Morphologische Physische Geographie. 1931 wurde er zum Professor für Physische Geographie, Geologie und Paläontologie an der Escuela Normal Superior de Paraná (Entre Ríos) ernannt. Von 1935 bis 1946 war er Direktor des Museumsinstituts der Nationalen Universität von La Plata; Stellvertretender Leiter der Abteilung für Paläozoologie, Wirbellose und Paläobotanik (1934-1946) und ordentlicher Professor für Physische Geographie (1945-1946).
